Description

Steel 08KH13 is used: for the production of blades for steam turbines operating at temperatures up to +580 °C, valves, bolts and pipes, as well as parts with high ductility, load (valves of hydraulic presses, household items); products exposed to slightly aggressive media (precipitation, aqueous solutions of salts of organic acids at room temperature, etc.); as a cladding layer in the manufacture of hot-rolled dual-layer corrosion-resistant sheets.

Note

Corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant ferritic class.
The recommended maximum operating temperature for limited time up to +650 °C. the Temperature of beginning of intensive scaling in air +750 °C.
The greatest corrosion resistance is achieved after heat treatment (quenching and tempering), and polishing. The brand 08X13 steel can also be used after annealing.
