Steel Е55 (NEPRA)
Designation
Description
Е55 steel is used: for the production of hot-rolled and forged bars and rods, designed for the manufacture of parts transport and tractor and agricultural machinery manufactured by hot forming, the subsequent mechanical machining and hardening with heating HDTV.
Note
Discapacitadas steel machining.
Standards
Chemical composition
Fe is the basis.
According to the UTU 62-144-63 titanium is introduced at the rate of 0.60% without taking into account the burnout. With the consent of the parties, steel is melted with additional micro-alloying with nitrogen (N) or rare, or rare-earth metals. Method of microalloying and content of elements with NIIM.
According to TU ChMZ-64-67 titanium (Ti) is introduced at the rate of 0.040% without taking into account the fumes. The content of selenium (Se) is calculated. The sum of Mn + Cr + Ni (Manganese + Chrome + Nickel) in steelmaking is not higher than 0.55%. In some cases, with the consent of the parties, steel can be smelted with the replacement of selenium (Se) with rare-earth metals. The technology of microalloying is coordinated with NIIM (Chelyabinsk).
According to TU 14-1-1314-75 titanium (Ti) is introduced at the rate of 0.040% without taking into account the burnout. The content of selenium (Se) is calculated. The sum of Mn + Cr + Ni (Manganese + Chrome + Nickel) in steelmaking is not higher than 0.55%.
