According to TU 14-1-3280-81, the chemical composition is presented for 45T steel. The content of residual elements should not exceed the requirements of GOST 1050 for carbon quality steels. The concentration of arsenic should not be more than 0.150%. ready rolled products are allowed deviations in chemical composition in accordance with GOST 1050 with the exception of titanium content, the allowed deviation in which should not exceed +0.010%.
For the manufacture of pipe billets in the performance group A, in agreement with the customer, an increase in the lower and upper limit for silicon content by 0.20% is permitted, in which case the steel has the designation 45ST.
