Description
Steel 08ps used: for the manufacture of sheet metal 1−3 mm 4−14 category, intended for cold forming; sheet rolled double-sided electrolytic coating and single-side polymer coating, used in the construction industry, commercial engineering, industrial ventilation, household appliances, decoration and other purposes; cold-rolled strips, intended for the production of flexible metal hoses; gaskets, washers, plugs, tubes, and parts subjected to chemical-thermal treatment of bushings, eyelets, rods; for the manufacture of parts by cold-forming steel has the ability to very deep drawing (VG); electric-welded pipes for the manufacture of domestic and industrial tubular electric heaters (teh) and other mechanical engineering products; electrically welded tubes; cold rolled strip 0,05−4,00 mm, designed for bending and stamping parts; flux cored wire; parts of bearings and other metal products.

According to GOST 4041-71 the chemical composition is given for steel used for the production of flat products of the third category. Rental of 1-2 categories are made by chemical composition GOST 1050.
