Description
10Х15Н9С3Б1 steel is used: for the production of forgings, free forging manufactured, semi rental (sheets, rods, ribbons), pipe blanks, pipes and forgings for the manufacture of parts and assemblies of power plant equipment (parts and units of steam generators in power machinery and corrosion resistant to work in a steam environment and corrosion in liquid Pb and Pb-Bi cooling). Maximum operating temperature of 550 °C.
Note
Silicon-containing austenitic steel.

Weldability |
To improve the overall corrosion resistance relieve residual stresses in welded assemblies used annealing welded assemblies in air, 1000-1100 °C (aged for at least 2.5 minutes/mm of maximum wall thickness, but not less than 1 hour). |
Macrostructure and pollution |
The macrostructure of the steel on the other 14-1-2052-77 must be without voids, cracks, cracks and slag inclusions. Norms of permissible defects - Central porosity ≤ 1 point; - point nonuniformity ≤ 1 score; - square of exudation ≤ 1 points. Valid pollution steel non-metallic inclusions: oxides of stroke OS ≤ 1 point; - point oxides OF ≤ 1 point; - silicates fragile CX ≤ 1.5 points; silicates plastic SP ≤ 1.5 points; silicates plastic SP ≤ 2 points; - silicates, non-deformed SN ≤ 2 points; - sulphides With ≤ 1 point. Tests are performed on the nitrides and carbonitrides on the scale of the nitrides of titanium; actual results recorded in the certificate. |
Microstructure |
On the other 14-1-2052-77 the content of the ferritic phase is determined in the initial smelting of cast sample and allowed in the amount of 2-5 %. Ferritic phase is determined from the cast of the last two samples taken prior to release of metal. The divergence in content of the ferritic phase between samples should not exceed 1.0 %. |
Particularities of production of goods |
Forgings on the other 14-1-2052-77 are supplied without heat treatment, but stripped and cleaned. Forgings type of washers, designed for subsequent cold processing should have of forging not less than 4, and the forged type rods not less than 3. For forgings intended for further hot working the forging is not specified. |
Corrosion resistance |
Steel shall pass the test for resistance to ICC. testing is performed in a solution containing 160g. copper sulfate according to GOST 4165, 100 ml. of sulfuric acid density of 1,835 g/cm3 according to GOST 4204 and 1000 ml. of water. |
