Description

25Х18Н8В2 steel is used: for the manufacture of nitride precision parts operating at temperatures up to +600 °C (continuous) and +650 °C (short-term).

Note

Steel 25Х18Н8В2 more technologically advanced than steel 4Х14Н14В2М: 25−40 hours of nitriding a layer with a depth of 0.12…0.25 mm.

Deviations from the chemical composition are permissible: silicon ± 0.050%, chromium -0.50%, nickel + 0.50%, tungsten ± 0.10%, carbon + 0.010%. The presence of titanium up to 0.050%, aluminum up to 0.10%, copper to 0.25%, vanadium to 0.10%, molybdenum to 0.30%, niobium to 0.10%, cobalt to 0.50% sign.
