Production

According to Astm B726, pipes are manufactured from flat-rolled material by automatic welding, without additives. The pipes are annealed and descaled after welding. Descaling is not necessary if the final heat treatment is performed in an inert atmosphere. Flattening and bordering tests are carried out on each end of one tube in the production lot.

Standardization

The values specified by Astm B726 in units of inch-pound shall be considered the standard. Metric values, are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.
