Corrosion resistance
Good resistance to dry gases at room temperature. LC version can be used in dry chlorine gas and hydrogen chloride at temperatures up to 550 °C (1020 °F). Reduced carbon content (max 0.2%) enhances corrosion resistance even at temperatures above 300 °C (570 °F). Demonstrates resistance in caustic solutions up to molten salt, but corrosion may occur in oxidizing salt solutions.
