Steel 40ГМФР
Designation
Description
40ГМФР steel is used: for the manufacture of rollers track rollers of crawler tractors industrial excavators, wear-resistant tips of the teeth of the buckets and other spare parts for transport and heavy machinery, resistant to abrasion at operating temperatures from -50 °C to +50 °C.
Note
Samozashchita steel with high hardenability and wear resistance.
Standards
Chemical composition
Fe is the basis.
According to TU 14-1-4566-89 and TU 14-1-4939-90 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 40GMFR. In steel, aluminum and titanium are introduced from the calculation of their residual content in steel of not less than 0.020% each. Mass fraction of residual copper, nickel, tungsten and permissible deviations in chemical composition in finished rolled products must comply with GOST 4543.
According to TU 14-1-4939-90, according to the total mass fraction of sulfur and phosphorus in%, steel is divided into 4 groups: 1 сф - 0,060-0,067%, 2сф - 0,059-0,050%, 3сф - 0,049 - 0,040%, 4сф - 0,039 - 0,030 %. According to the mass fraction of each of the residual elements in%: nickel, copper, tungsten and titanium, the steel is divided into 5 groups: 1oc - 0.25 - 0.34% (except tungsten and titanium), 2oc - 0.24 - 0.16% (except titanium, tungsten 0.16-0.20%), 3oc - 0.15-0.10%, 4oc - 0.09-0.05%, 5oc - less than 0.05% (titanium 0.02 - 0.05%). The group for the total mass fraction of sulfur and phosphorus, as well as the group by the mass fraction of the residual elements, is indicated in the order. If there are no requirements in the order of the group, the manufacturer chooses. It is allowed to make steel by the total mass fraction of sulfur, phosphorus and by the mass fraction of the residual elements not higher than those specified in the order.
