Description

Alloy AM4,5kd applies: for production of pigs; high strength and heat resisting shaped castings with different casting methods (sand casting, investment casting, gravity die casting).

According to GOST 1583-93, the iron content is specified for casting in sand molds, for smelting models and casting in chill molds. The amount of allowable impurities should be for casting in sand molds, for melted models, casting in chill molds ≤ 0.60%.
