Description
Steel PT70 is used: for the manufacture of rails type R18 and R24 designed for installation on the Railways narrow gauge.
Note
Steel for the manufacture of rails is made with a degree of deoxidation SP (calm).

Fe is the basis.
According to GOST 5876-82 in the steel smelted on the basis of Kerch ores, a mass fraction of sulfur and phosphorus is allowed up to 0.050%. With a mass fraction of carbon above 80%, the mass fraction of manganese in the PT70 grade steel should not exceed 1.05%.
