10Х12Н3М2ФА steel (CSD-M)
Designation
Description
10Х12Н3М2ФА steel is used: for the manufacture of forgings of the rotor disc and other details of steam and gas turbines.
Note
Chromium-Nickel steel of austenitic-ferritic class.
Standards
Chemical composition
Fe is the basis.
According to TU 24.11.015-90 the chemical composition is presented for the steel of the initial melting of forged blanks 10Х12Н3М2ФА-Ш (ЦД-М-Ш) of electroslag remelting. Deviations from the chemical composition are permissible: carbon ± 0.010%, chromium + 0.50%, nickel ± 0.10%, molybdenum ± 0.10%, silicon ± 0.10%. Deviations for the rest of the elements must comply with GOST 4543. It is allowed to introduce a technological additive of cerium by calculation in an amount not exceeding 0.020%. When steel is smelted on pure charge materials, the mass fraction of phosphorus must meet the requirements of the table; when used in the smelting of waste, the mass fraction of phosphorus should not be more than 0.0250%. The residual content of hydrogen in the metal of blanks should not exceed 2.5 cm 3 per 100 grams of metal. the results of determination of the hydrogen content are not acceptance tests, but are to be entered in the blank passport.
