Description

Alloy 52N is used: for the manufacture of preforms, wire and cold-drawn shaped profiles; connections with soft glass grades C90−1, C90−2, С93−2, С94- 1, С95−2 and С93−4.

Alloy with an average value of CTE.
Alloy with a CTE (11,0−11,5)·10-6 deg-1 in the temperature range from -70 to + 550 °C with high permeability and saturation induction of 1.5 T.

Ni is the basis.
According to TU 14-1-4624-89, the chemical composition is given for the 52N-VP alloy. Requirements for the content of cobalt, silicon, aluminum and titanium are optional. The oxygen content in the alloy should not be more than 0.0080% and is controlled in every tenth melting.
According to GOST 10994-74 the chemical composition is given for the alloy grade 52H.
