Alloy 32NK (ЭП475)
Designation
Description
Alloy 32NK used: for the manufacture of products with a polished surface, parts of complex shape that cannot be subjected to annealing to obtain a lower CTE; pipes.
Note
The alloy in the annealed condition with a minimum CTE of not more than 1.5·10-6 deg-1 in the temperature range from minus 60 to plus 100 °C.
Standards
Chemical composition
Fe is the basis.
According to GOST 10994-74 the chemical composition is given for the alloy grade 32KN-VI.
According to TU 14-1-4743-89, TU 14-159-215-92, the chemical composition is given for the alloy 32KN-IL (EP475-IL), smelted by the vacuum induction melting method followed by electron-beam remelting. In the finished metal, the deviation from the chemical composition according to the nickel content is allowed to be + 0.50%.
