    Description

    Brass LO70−1 is used: for the manufacture of semi-finished products (rods, tubes, sheets, strips); details of instrumentation; drawn and cold-rolled pipes used in heat exchangers; condensers and heat exchangers; products of high corrosion and erosion resistance.

    According to GOST 28873−90 brass LO70−1 not recommended for use with 01.01.1992 g. in the newly created and upgraded technology. Instead, it is recommended to use a brand LA77−2U.

    According to GOST 15527-2004 the sum of other elements should be ≤ 0.30%. In brass, the mass fraction of nickel is allowed up to 0.50% due to the mass fraction of copper, which is not taken into account in the sum of other impurities.
