Brass ЛМцЖ57-1,5-0,75
Designation
Description
Brass ЛМцЖ57−1,5−0,75 is used: for the manufacture of the rolled strip thickness of 0.3; 0.5 and 1.0 mm, used for brazing carbide tools.
Note
Copper-zinc brass.
Solder ЛМцЖ57−1,5−0,75 — single-layer recommended for brazing most types of metal cutting tools, good flow on the brazed surfaces, provides the desired strength of the solder joint, to reduce the level of residual stresses of soldering, improves the reliability of the tool.
Standards
Chemical composition
Cu is the basis.
According to TU 48-21-299-84 the sum of the remaining impurities is ≤ 0.50%. Boron is introduced by calculation when melting at the upper limit and in the finished bands is not controlled. The content of nickel is allowed up to 1.50% due to copper.
According to OST 48-184-81, the total content of all impurities should be ≤ 0.50%. The content of boron is guaranteed by the manufacturer. In the solder of the brand LMZZh57-1.5-0.75, nickel content is allowed up to 1.50% due to copper. Impurities not listed in the table are taken into account in the total amount of impurities.
