Steel with moderate heat resistance.

It is characterized by the possibility of carbide and/or intermetallide hardening. In addition to the elements mentioned for the previous subgroup, they also contain cobalt. These steels are characterized by improved heat and wear resistance but have a somewhat lower toughness. The typical representatives are grades 3Х2В8Ф, 3Х10В7М2К10, Х2В6М6К12Н2 etc. They are used for the manufacture of hot die forging of alloyed structural steels and heat-resistant alloys, as well as for the tool working at 680...6900 C, in conditions of strong frictional loads.

Cold forming stamping steel. Chrome steels.

They have increased and high wear resistance and contain up to 6% of chromium (Kh6VF, 9X5VF, Kh6F4M) and up to 12% of chromium (Kh12, Kh12F1, Kh12VM).
