1. Classification

1.1 Depending on their purpose, bars are subdivided:

• for the manufacture of parts by machining (notation - M1);
• subsequent hot work by pressure (without designation).

2.2 Titanium rounds are supplied in measured, multiple measured and unmeasured lengths. The maximum length is 2000 mm. 2.3. Length tolerances shall not exceed +10 mm.

3. technical requirements

3.1Production is subject to requirements of the industry standard technical documentation.
Bars shall be made of VT1-00, VT1-0, VT1-2,0T4, 0T4-0,0T4-1, VTZ-1, VT5, VT5-1, VT6, VT6S, VT8, VT9, VT14, VT20, VT22, VT23 alloys.
3.3 The chemical composition of the material shall meet the requirements of 0CT1 90013-81.
3.4 Titanium round is delivered in hot-rolled condition without heat treatment.
3.5 Surface roughness index - _RZ supplied after machining shall be not more than 80 microns.
3.6 On the surface after machining is not allowed ledges from the cutter, rough edges and other surface defects.
3.9 The size of the macro grain on a scale of 10 points should not be higher:

(a) Machining bars:

• 7 points for a diameter of up to 100 mm;
• 8 for diameters greater than 100 mm

b) bars for hot pressure treatment:

• 8-points for diameters up to 100 mm;
• Grades 9 for diameters greater than 100 mm.

3.10. The microstructure of bars up to 100 mm in diameter, controlled by instrument 1054-76, should correspond to:

• 1-7 type of nine-type scale - alloys of BT3-1, BT6, BT6S, VT8, VT9, VT23, VT14, VT20 grades;
• Types 1-6 of a nine-grade scale - alloys of BT4, BT4-1, BT4-0, BT5, BT5-1 grades;
• 1-7 type of a nine-grade scale - alloys of BT 22 grade.
