Description: This industry standard applies to round and square forged bars of titanium alloy grades VT1-00, VT1-0, OT4-0, OT4-1, OT4-2, VT4, VT5-1, VT5, VT6C, VT6, VT3-1, VT8, VT9, VT14, VT20 and VT22, designed for pressure processing.

Delivery of rolled bars with similar dimensions, meeting requirements of this industry standard instead of forged bars is allowed. It is not recommended to use bars supplied by this industry standard for machining parts, but in case of such necessity to use forged bars supplied by OST 1 90000-70 and TU 1-92-2-72 for this purpose.
