1. Range

1.1 Dimensions of titanium bars and their limiting deviations shall meet the following requirements.

1.2 According to the length bars are supplied:
(a) of odd length -
bars with diameter of 10-18 mm in length from 1,0 to 4,0 m;
bars with diameter of 20 - 60 mm with length of 1,0 - 6,0 m;
b) measured and multiple lengths, to the extent of the unmeasured length.
1.4 Curvature on 1 linear meter shall be not more than 5 mm.
1.5 Ovality shall not take their size beyond the limit deviation in diameter.

2. technical requirements
2.1 Titanium bars are supplied in hot rolled condition without heat treatment.
2.2 The chemical composition of the alloys shall meet the requirements of OCT1 9001Z-71 (replaced by CT1 90013-81).
2.3.Mechanical properties shall meet the following requirements.

2.7 The grain size of the bar on a 10-point scale of macrostructure, shall not exceed: 4th point, for BT6S, BT6, BT3-1, BT8, BT9 and BT14 grades; 5th point. for BT22 grade.
In the macrostructure of bars from all alloy grades it is allowed to have separate areas with grain size not exceeding the 6th point, if the total area occupied by these areas does not exceed 20% of the macrostructure area.
2.8 The microstructure of bars from alloys of BT6C, BT6, BT3-1 and BT14 grades, defined by a 9-grade scale (see Instructions No 695-69), must correspond to 1-7 grade.
