Vietnam introduced another temporary duty

From 25 June to Vietnam in force anti-dumping duties. They concern imports of colour-coated products. His deliveries from South Korea and China. This measure is temporary. About it reports the Ministry of industry and trade of Vietnam. Rates ranging from 3.45 percent to 34.27% for Chinese companies. So for the Chinese company Yieh Phui Technomaterial will act to 3.45%. With Korean companies, things are a little different. Korean Dongbu Incheon Steel falls under the rate of 4.48%. Another Korean company Dongkuk Steel Mill, spread of 18.08%. For other Korean companies will set the interest rate of 19.25%

The decision to impose duties was made on preliminary results of the investigation. It concerned the import of products from China and Korea. The process started in June 2017. It was initiated by four local businesses. They are engaged in the production of rolled products with polymer coating. Completed investigation has in the fourth quarter of this year. Despite this, the Ministry has decided to early to impose anti-dumping duties. It is reported that the authorities received information about the damage to local producers. And we are talking about significant damage. Some Vietnamese companies have suspended production. It happened in the second half of 2018.

The new duties will affect not all of such products. Exempt import of products that are purchased for processing and subsequent exportation. The same applies to the types of products that are not produced in Vietnam. In particular, we are talking about the car with a vinyl coating. It is used for the manufacture of some types of appliances.
