According Yieh.com, Chinese corporation «Baosteel» has recently taken a decision to reduce export prices for austenitic stainless steel at 100 US dollars per ton since the fall in nickel prices on the world markets.

According to experts «Baosteel», nickel quotations on global trading floors fell in June (just when the Corporation increased the value of their products). Against the background of this event in the company, it was decided to reduce the price of austenitic stainless roll. At the same time the corporation is left at the same level cost ferrite coil, explaining that the prices for ferrochrome in the world markets today remain at the same level.
