Production of raw titanium, according to the Federal State Statistics Service, in August increased by 5.2% in July of this year, and by August of 2009 — as much as 90.8%. The issue is of titanium semi-finished products (wire, rods and profiles) decreased by 17.4% compared to July 2010, but increased by 22.9% compared with the results of a year ago.

If we talk about the outcome of the domestic titanium industry for eight months of this year, the production of raw titanium expanded by 6.5%, semi-finished products based on it — by 9.4%.
