The volume of primary aluminum production in Brazil increased by 1% in July 2010 compared with July 2009 and amounted to 130.6 thous. Tons. This is according to the Brazilian Aluminum Association.
In general, in January-July of the current compared to the same period last year, a winged metal production in the country decreased by 0.8% and amounted to 891.8 thous. Tons.
Recall that, according to forecasts of the organization, aluminum consumption in Brazil in 2010 compared to 2009 will grow by 24.7% to 1.26 million tonnes.
