Chinese copper production in July fell by 8.7%, as the largest manufacturers of suspended operations due to low prices and demand.
Full production decreased to 12.839 ths. Tons compared to 14.067 thousand. T in June, according to Chinese customs. The July issue volume was 16% higher year on year.
During the period from January to July, China produced 2.71 million tons of refined copper, up 19% year-on-year.
