In the government enterprise «Zaporozhye Titanium-Magnesium Plant» (ZTMC) during the audit Control and Revision Office (KRU) revealed a lack of titanium sponge by 4.5 mln. UAH. This was reported at a press conference the head of department of the control in the sphere of state property CRU in the Zaporozhye region Valentine Gromov, RBC-Ukraine.

«Testing took place in 2009 and lasted more than two months. The audit inventory of titanium products and established a shortage of titanium sponge was held. You can say that it is not in fact «- said Gromov.

According to her, the cost of the missing goods -… 4.5 million USD, the estimated volume — about 160 tons.

As the head of CRU in the Zaporozhye region, Nikolai Truschenko, materials on this verification KRU sent to the Security Service of Ukraine, the Prosecutor's Office and the Interior Ministry. According to him, the police have opened a criminal case on the submissions received.
