St1sp (Ст1сп) Structural Steel
Designation
Description
Material overview
St1sp (Ст1сп) is a general-purpose structural-steel designation used on regional and legacy documentation for fabricated parts, fasteners and other non-critical components. The suffix is part of the grade designation and should be retained on the enquiry. Suitability depends on the governing standard, product form, section size and required properties.
Product forms and sourcing
Sourcing can be reviewed for round or flat bar, sheet, strip, welded tube and cut blanks, subject to the requested standard and available dimensions. State thickness or diameter, width, length, quantity, straightness, edge, surface condition, machining allowance and whether cutting or preparation is required.
Evek LLC reviews each requirement against the requested grade, specification, form, dimensions and quantity. Availability, origin, mill route, minimum quantity and certification are confirmed during quotation; website text is not a stock or compliance guarantee.
Specification and substitution
A general similarity to another low-carbon steel does not make it an approved equivalent. Chemistry, deoxidation practice, mechanical properties, weldability requirements, tolerances and inspection rules can differ. The purchaser or responsible engineer must approve any alternative against the drawing and applicable code.
The purchaser remains responsible for material selection, design approval and confirmation that the specified material is suitable for the finished component, manufacturing process and service environment.
