The 08KH18N10T steel is used: for the manufacture of rolled products; forging parts, General engineering; seamless pipes; parts chemical equipment operating in environments of increased aggressiveness (the solutions of nitric, acetic acids, alkaline solutions and salts); heat exchangers, muffles, pipes, fittings furnace parts, electrodes incendiary spark candles; welding and wire welding; machines and equipment for food industry; consumer goods, parts automotive and transport engineering; connections equipment operating in radioactive environments or in contact with aggressive environment; extremely thin-walled cold — and warm-deformed pipes designed for pipelines and constructions for various purposes; as a cladding layer in the manufacture of hot-rolled dual-layer corrosion-resistant sheets; forged and stamping of blanks of non-stationary power installations; flanges and rings for power engineering; cold-rolled steel and roll-formed sections, intended for the manufacture of oblivi and frame of body of passenger cars; seamless cold-rolled, cold-drawn and replicating pipes are designed for pipes and fittings of high quality; bimetallic sheets with aluminum alloy AD1; sheet metal thickness from 40 mm to 160 mm, used in the manufacture of parts and structures of shipbuilding, working in conditions of sea water.

Chemical composition
According to GOST 5632-72, TU 108-930-80, TU 14-1-748-73, TU 14-1-3874-84 and TU 108-713-77, the content of Ti% = 5C% is 0.7%.
According to TU 14-1-3581-83 the chemical composition is given for steel 08Х18Н10Т-ВД. The content of Ti% = 5C% is 0.7%.
According to TU 14-1-686-88 the chemical composition is given for steel 08Х18Н10Т-ВД. The content of Ti% = 5C% is 0.6%. Deviations from the content of elements in the chemical composition of steel, not established by the specification - in accordance with GOST 5632.
According to TU 108-713-77 (for the production of seamless pipes), the nickel content is allowed up to 11.50%. The content of ferrite, determined in the ladle sample, should be within 1.0-7.0%.
According to TU 14-1-3874-84, according to the agreement between the consumer and the supplier, the steel is treated with synthetic slag (it is introduced by calculation of silicocalcals and cerium (misch metal) in an amount of 0.05-0.20% and 0.01-0.10% respectively, which chemical analysis is not determined). The residual content of aluminum in steel is not more than 0.10%. The ratio of chromium to nickel is not more than 1.8.
According to TU 14-158-137-2003 the content of Ti% = 5С% - 0,6%. It is permissible to introduce cerium and other rare-earth metals according to the calculation by 0.2-0.3%, which are not determined by chemical analysis.
According to GOST 19277-73 the chemical composition is given for steel 08Х18Н10Т-ВД; steel grade 08H18N10T must have a chemical composition in accordance with GOST 5632. The maximum deviation in chemical composition is in accordance with GOST 5632. The mass fraction of titanium in steel 08X18H10T-VD should be Ti% = 5C% - 0.6%.
According to GOST 24030-80, the mass fraction of titanium in steel 08X18H10T should be Ti% = 5С% - 0,6%.
According to TU 14-3Р-115-2010, the mass fraction of titanium in steel 08Х18Н10Т should be Ti% = 5С% - 0,7%, but not less than 0,30%.
According to TU 14-1-2583-78, the chemical composition is given for steel grade 08H18N10T with a limited content of cobalt and smelted on a fresh charge using highly pure materials and nickel grades NKS-1 and H-0. The mass fraction of titanium in steel 08Х18Н10Т should be Ti% = 5С% - 0,6%.
According to TU 14-1-2787-2004, the chemical composition is given for steel grade 08H18N10T-VD (EI914-VD). The titanium content is Ti = C-x5% -0.6%. Allowed in the finished product deviations from the standards of chemical composition: for manganese -0.30%, for titanium + 0.10%, for phosphorus + 0.0050%. Mass fraction of residual elements - according to GOST 5632. At the request of the consumer, steel is produced with a mass fraction of cobalt of not more than 0.20%.
According to TU 14-1-632-73, the chemical composition is given for steel grade 08H18N10T-VD (EI914-VD). The titanium content is Ti = 5C% -0.60%. Allowed in the finished product deviations from the norms of chemical composition: for manganese -0.30%, phosphorus +0.0050%.
