Steel 06KH18N10T (06Х18Н10)
Designation
Description
06KH18N10T steel is used: for the manufacture of extremely thin-walled cold — and warm-deformed pipes for pipelines and structures of various purposes; welded equipment operating in environments of increased aggressiveness (the solutions of nitric, acetic acids, alkaline solutions and salts); structures to be welded by spot welding; wire woven grids with square cells of micron size, used for control and separation of materials by particle size, filtration of liquids, gases and other purposes.
Note
Steel corrosion resistant austenitic class.
Standards
Chemical composition
Fe is the basis.
According to GOST 10498-82 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 06H18N10T. The content of Ti% = 5C% is 0.60%.
According to TU 14-3-1070-81, TU 14-3-219-89, TU 14-159-259-95 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 06H18N10T.
Steel grades 06H18N10T-VD and 06H18N10T-Sh according to TU 14-3-219-89, in contrast to the composition 06H18N10T, have mass fractions of sulfur elements ≤ 0.015%, phosphorus ≤ 0.025, titanium ≤ 0.60%.
According to TU 14-1-3935-85 the chemical composition is given for steel 06H18N10T. The content of Ti% = 6C% is 0.70%. Metal processing is allowed up to 0.10% of the sum of the REM by calculation. The steel of electroslag and vacuum-arc remelting allowed the presence of manganese to 0.50%, and the mass fraction of sulfur should not be more than 0.015%, phosphorus - not more than 0.025%, permissible deviation from the chemical composition for carbon minus 0.010%. Mass fraction of residual elements - in accordance with GOST 5632.
