Steel 03KH18N10T (03Х18Н10; 18CR10NITI)
Designation
Description
03KH18N10T steel is used: for the manufacture of thin-sheet cold-rolled steel; bellows-expansion joints; parts and welded structures operating in environments of increased aggressiveness (nitric acid, nitrate environments, acetic acid, alkaline solutions and salts); cold-rolled strip intended for deep drawing products, electronic industry; the wire woven grids with square cells of micron size, used for control and separation of materials by particle size, filtration of liquids, gases and other purposes.
Note
Steel corrosion and heat-resistant austenitic class.
Standards
Chemical composition
Fe is the basis.
According to GOST 5632-72 and TU 14-1-3874-84, the content of Ti% = 5C% is 0.4%.
According to TU 14-1-3874-84, the chemical composition is given for steel 03Х18Н10Т-ВИ. By agreement between the consumer and the supplier, the steel is treated with synthetic slag (it is calculated by calculation of silicocalcals and cerium (misch metal) in an amount of 0.05-0.20% and 0.01-0.10%, respectively, which is not determined by chemical analysis). The residual content of aluminum in steel is not more than 0.10%. The ratio of chromium to nickel is not more than 1.8.
According to TU 14-1-1702-76, the chemical composition is given for steel grade 03H18N10T-VI. The content of Ti% = 5C% is 0.3%.
According to TU 14-3-219-89, the chemical composition is given for steel grades 03X18H10T-VD and 03X18N10T-III.
According to TU 14-1-3935-85 the chemical composition is given for steel 03H18N10T. The content of Ti% = 5C% is 0.40%. Metal processing is allowed up to 0.10% of the sum of the REM by calculation. In the steel of electroslag and vacuum-arc remelting, manganese is allowed up to 0.50%, and the mass fraction of sulfur should not be more than 0.015%, phosphorus - not more than 0.020%. Mass fraction of residual elements - in accordance with GOST 5632.
According to TU 14-1-4353-87 the chemical composition is given for steel 03H18N10-VI. In steel, cerium (misch metal) is introduced in the calculations in amounts of 0.010-0.10%, the content of which is not determined by chemical analysis. The ratio of the amount of chromium to the amount of nickel in the steel should not be more than 1.8. Mass fraction of residual elements - according to GOST 5632.
