Alloy, MK-5 is used: for the manufacture of friction pads intended for operation in friction units of machines and transfer devices operating in the oil when sliding speed up to 40 m/sec and pressure on the friction surfaces up to 40 kg/cm2.

In the sintered material MK-5 according to TU 14-1-1291-75, in addition to the specified components, graphite is present in an amount of 6.0-8.0%. By agreement of the parties in the sintered material, the content of tin is 6.0-8.0%.
