Tu U 14-8-37-2001. Seamless cold-deformed pipes made of KhN50VMTYUB-ID alloy

Technical specifications

Tu 14-8-37-2001 regulates the production of seamless cold-deformed tubes of KhN50VMTYUB-ID alloy working at a temperature of 1100°C. The alloy is heat-resistant and heat-resistant.

Percentage composition of CrN50VMTYUB-ID

C Si Mn Ni S P Cr Mo V Ti
0.05 - 0.08 0.3 - 0.6 1.3 - 2 14 - 15.5 ≤0.012 ≤0.02 15.5 - 17 1.9 - 2.5 0.1 - 0.3 0.2 - 0.5

Chromium increases hardness and corrosion resistance. Nickel gives the alloy ductility. Vanadium increases strength, impact and abrasion resistance. Molybdenum resists oxidation at high temperature. Manganese content above 1% increases hardness, impact strength, wear resistance. Titanium increases stability, corrosion resistance.
