1.5 MF grade bars are supplied in deformed, not annealed condition. MCHVP grade bars with diameter from 16 to 80 mm are supplied in deformed annealed condition, diameter from 85 to 125 mm - in cast non-deformed and annealed condition.
1.6 The ends of molybdenum bars shall be machined.
1.7 No cracks and delamination shall be allowed on the surface and ends of bars. As agreed with the customer, the manufacturer shall inspect molybdenum bars of Molybdenum grade MHVP for the detection of internal cracks.
1.8 Risks on the surface of ground rods, traces of abrasive scraping, which do not lead to dimensions beyond the allowable deviations, are not a rejection feature.
1.9 Roughness parameter of the ground rods according to GOST 2789-73 must be: Rz - not more than 40 microns.
1.10. The deviation from straightness of the ground rods should not exceed 0,4% of the length, and non-ground rods - 1,0% of the length.
