1. technical requirements
1.1 Unannealed molybdenum metal-ceramic and vacuum-melting molybdenum bars and wires shall comply with the requirements of these technical specifications.
1.2 Grades
Bar and wire are made from powder billets of molybdenum grade MF and vacuum smelted ingots of grade MHVP, obtained by melting powder billets of molybdenum grade MF.

1. Molybdenum wire is supplied in coils.
2. On customer request wire with the diameter from 2.0 to 3.0 mm inclusive may be supplied in coils with the length not less than 1000 mm. 1.4.

1.6 The surface shall be without cracks. On the surface of traces of forging, risks, foams, shells that do not bring the size of the rods beyond the tolerances are not a rejection feature.
On the surface of the wire, traces of drawing, longitudinal strokes, burrs, discoloration and the presence of grease are not a rejection feature.
Ends of wire and rods up to 4. 0 mm in diameter shall be chopped, and ends of rods over 4.0 mm in diameter shall be ground.
1.8. The rod shall be straight. Deviations from straightness shall not exceed 0.2% per 200 mm of rod length.
1.9 The mechanical properties of bars and wires made from MoM grade molybdenum comply with the following requirements.
