Features of properties
Tool steels belonging to the alloys of the carbon group are distinguished by a relatively simple chemical composition, the basis of which (up to 99.5%) is iron. In addition to iron and its chemical compound with carbon - cementite, the types of steel under consideration also contain the following elements:
- chromium, nickel and copper (in steels of domestic production they are contained in the composition of raw materials);
