Technical characteristics

Nickel plates and strips are produced in accordance with GOST 6235-91 state standard according to Technological Regulations, from brands NP1, NP2, NPZ, NP4 in soft (annealed), half-hard and hard (not annealed) state. Soft nickel strips with thickness 0,15 mm and more, width 60 mm and more are made with steel brushes on both sides.

Quality

The rolled surface must be clean, free of dirt, and smooth, without films, cracks, bubbles, delaminations, scale, shells, dents, scratches and rolls. The surface is allowed on the local risks, dents, impressions of the rolls that do not lead out of the sheets at the control stripping over half of the limit thickness deviations. Traces of unburned grease, off-color and local darkening on the surface of the strips intended for the manufacture of parts of electric vacuum and semiconductor devices are not allowed. Local light spots and stripes on stripped surface are allowed.

According to GOST 6235-91 the sheet length must be 500 - 2000 mm. The range of deviations on the length of sheets of measured and multiple measured lengths shall not exceed minus 20 mm. The thickness of hot-rolled strips and limit deviations (in millimeters) shall be as follows.
