Specification

ASTM Specificationa B582 describes the standard requirements for rolled metal in the form of nickel-chrome-iron-molybdenum-copper alloy plates, sheets and strips (UNS N06007, N06975, N06985 and N06030) for use in general engineering applications. Rolled steel shall meet the requirements of this specification for tensile strength, yield strength, relative elongation, and Rockwell hardness.

Processing

Materials shall be hot or cold rolled, annealed solid and descaled. Plates must be machine-cut and are supplied with abrasive powdered (or arc-welded) edges. Sheets and strips shall be cut or notched edges.
