Production
Electric-welded pipes are produced from strips or rolled sheet, by forming and electro-welding with TIG- or HF-welding. The former is strong (as a basic pipe material), wide, without voids or cavities. HF-joint is not as wide and may have cavities, but the price of such pipes will be cheaper. They are often used for decorative purposes, where there are no increased requirements for strength — decorative structures, furniture, railings.
Classification of stainless steel pipes

Application
Electrically welded stainless steel pipe is widely demanded by petrochemical, engineering, construction, housing and utilities sectors. Large diameter pipes are required for construction of heating mains, gas and oil pipelines.
