Steel АЦ20ХНЗ
Designation
Description
АЦ20ХНЗ steel is used: for the production of bars intended for the manufacture of automotive components by hot forming with subsequent machining.
Note
Calcium-containing steel of high machinability.
Standards
Chemical composition
Fe is the basis.
According to TU 14-1-3283-81 chemical analysis is given for steel grade AC20HNZ. In the designation of steel letters mean: A - automatic, C - calcium. The microalloying of calcium steel is carried out by silicocalcium and other calcium alloys at the rate of introduction of 0.030-0.090% calcium into a liquid metal. The mass fraction of calcium is not determined by chemical analysis. The presence of tungsten to 0.20%, molybdenum to 0.15%, titanium to 0.030% and vanadium to 0.050% is not a defect. In finished bars, subject to the requirements of the technical specification, deviations in chemical composition are allowed: for carbon ± 0.010%, for manganese ± 0.020%, for silicon ± 0.020%, for chromium ± 0.020%, for nickel -0.10%, for sulfur and phosphorus +0.0050% each.
