Description
Copper M0b is used: for the manufacture of drawn, cold-rolled and moulded tubes of circular cross section designed for use in electronics; drawn tubes of rectangular and square section, intended for the manufacture of the conductors of the windings of stators of electrical machines with liquid cooling; current conductors and alloys of high purity; instruments of vacuum industry; foil bimetal 999,9 MS+M0b+999,9 MS.
Note
Copper M0b is obtained by melting of cathodes in a reducing or inertance atmosphere or vacuum.
Standards
Chemical composition
Cu is the basis.
According to GOST 859-2001, the total mass fraction of copper and silver is ≥ 99.97%. Upon agreement of the manufacturer with the consumer, the manufacture of copper grade M0b with a mass fraction of oxygen not exceeding 0.0020% is allowed.
In the strips and tapes manufactured in accordance with GOST 15471-77, the silicon content should not be more than 0.003%.
