Description
Brass Lc40mc3zh used: for the manufacture of casting parts for shipbuilding, ship engineering and instrumentation; casting a simple configuration of parts critical applications and the reinforcement of naval shipbuilding, working at temperatures up to +300 °C; massive parts, propellers and blades for the tropics.

Zn is the basis.
According to GOST 17711-93 and OST 5P.9209-82, the total amount of impurities should be ≤ 1.70%. Impurities not specified are taken into account in the total amount of impurities. The mass fraction of nickel in brass is allowed at the expense of copper and is not included in the sum of impurities. In the brass used for casting propellers, the mass fraction of copper should be 55.0-58.0%, aluminum - no more than 0.80%, lead - no more than 0.30%.
