Chemical composition
Si is the basis.
According to GOST 2169-69 the sum of detectable impurities is ≤ 2.00%. In silicon intended for the production of aluminum-silicon alloys, the mass fraction of aluminum is allowed up to 2.0% with a corresponding decrease in the mass fraction of silicon. In this case, the letter A: Kp1A is added to the designation of the brand of silicon. In silicon intended for the chemical industry, the mass fraction of titanium should not exceed 0.2% with a corresponding decrease in the mass fraction of silicon. According to the manufacturer's agreement with the consumer, silicon silicon grade Кр0 with a mass fraction of aluminum no more than 0.6% is produced for the production of semiconductor silicon, and also for special purposes.
