Tu 48-19-251-85. Seamless thin-walled pipes made of molybdenum, molybdenum-based alloys and niobium. Technical conditions.
Specifications Tu 48-19-251-85
1.1 Pipes made of niobium, molybdenum and molybdenum-based alloys shall comply with the requirements of these technical specifications.
1.2 Niobium and molybdenum pipes are separated depending on the method of initial billet production:
- niobium tubes are made from vacuum-melted niobium ingots;
- molybdenum grade MF pipes are made from powdered billets of MF grade molybdenum (pure molybdenum without additives);
- Molybdenum grade MF pipes are made from vacuum-melted ingots, obtained by melting powder billets of MF grade molybdenum with the use of carbon as a reduction agent;
- MBVP molybdenum tubes are made from vacuum-melted ingots produced by melting powder billets of MShV grade molybdenum with boron as a deoxidizer and alloying element.
