Scope of ASTM B677

This specification covers the requirements for seamless riveted or hardened tubing and tubes intended for corrosive applications in UNS N08925, UNS N08354 and UNS N08926 alloys. The N08904 alloy products described in this specification currently regulate the A269 and A312 / A312M specifications.

Testing

Alloys shall be subjected to tests - chemical analysis, tensile tests, and hydrostatic or non-destructive electrical tests. Materials must meet the required mechanical properties - tensile strength, yield strength, and relative elongation.

Standardization
