Technical characteristics
Antifriction bronze alloys are used both cast and after deformation treatment. The most often used bronze tin BrOCS5-5-3 (GOST 613), phosphor bronze BrOF-1 (211AMTU) and bronze tin-free BrAJ9-4, BrAJ9-4L and BrAJHN10-4-4-4L. The composition of the above alloys is given in table:

Application
The criterion for successful use is the value of the ultimate specific forces and the rotation speed of the operated part. Antifriction bronze is distinguished by its high performance in abrasive friction conditions. High level of allowable contact stresses (important for worm gears); Maximum sliding speeds of contacting elements (important for high-speed gear and friction gears); Level of torques and normal forces arising during operation of the transmission (important for large gears).
