The recommended maximum operating temperature for a limited period of work — +700 °C. the Temperature of beginning of intensive scaling in air +850 °C.

According to TU 14-1-5103-92 the chemical composition is given for 10Х11Н20Т2Р (ЭИ696А). Boron, cerium and zirconium are introduced into the metal by calculation and chemical analysis are not determined. At the request of the consumer, the steel is supplied with a boron content of 0.003-0.005%.
