Designation
Description
Alloy CAM10−5 is used: for the manufacture of bushings and bearings; castings; parts of friction units produced by the strain and operating at temperatures up to 80−100 °C; casting parts, metallurgical engineering (as a substitute for tin bronze in bearings and bushings for different units operating at low speeds; small bearings of rolling mills, eccentric shafts and clutches in a curved, eccentric and friction presses, chassis, wheels, valves and crankshaft, an oscillating gratings ore-dressing machinery); castings bearings and bushings for different units; rolling lanes for slideways of machine tools and other products.
Note
The coefficient of friction of the alloy without lubrication of 0.35, with grease — 0,009. The maximum allowable rotation speed — 7 m/sec. Maximum load capacity: static — 200 kgf/cm2, dynamic — 100 kgf/cm2 sec.
Conditions of operation:
— castings bearings and bushings for different units (CAM10−5L) — specific pressure ≤ 9.8 MPa; sliding speed ≤ 8 m/s; temperature ≤ 80 °C;
— rolling strip for guideways of machine tools and other products (CAM10−5) — specific pressure ≤ 19.6 MPa; sliding speed ≤ 8 m/s; temperature ≤ 80 °C.
Standards
Chemical composition
According to GOST 21437-95 and OST 24.916.01-71 the total content of impurities is ≤ 0.35%.
According to GOST 21438-95 the chemical composition is given for alloy TsAM10-5 in pigs.
According to STP M320-74, the chemical composition is given for the casting alloy TsAM10-5L.
