Alloy 42ХНМ (ЭП630У)
Designation
Description
Alloy 42ХНМ used: for the manufacture of products of special purpose; extremely thin-walled pipes used for the manufacture of parts in the reactor manufacturing, cladding, SVP and RIN (working neutron sources), the elements of active zones of nuclear reactors.
Note
Chrome-Nickel, precision, corrosion-resistant alloy.
Standards
Chemical composition
Ni is the basis.
According to TU 14-131-987-2002, the chemical composition is presented for the alloy 42ХНМ-Ш, 42ХНМ-ВД. Permissible deviation by mass fraction of chromium is ± 0.050%. The alloy is introduced by the calculation of cerium in the range of 0.02-0.20% and magnesium in the range of 0.01-0.03% and is not determined by chemical analysis. In the alloy, the residual mass fraction of titanium is not more than 0.25%. Conduct a control of the mass fraction of nitrogen and cobalt in the alloy, the results of which are recorded in the certificate.
According to TU 14-1-5436-2001, the chemical composition is presented for the alloy grade 42HNM. Permissible deviation by mass fraction of chromium ± 0.50%. Cerium and magnesium are introduced into the alloy by calculation and chemical analysis are not determined. In the alloy, the mass fraction of titanium is not more than 0.25%. The mass fraction of nitrogen and cobalt is monitored and the results are recorded in the certificate.
