Description

Babbit BKA is used: to fill the friction of axle bearings for railway cars and tenders Railways; in engine and metallurgical engineering (for potting of inserts Buks passenger carriages and freight wagons of broad gauge and bearings of locomotives and tenders, bearings of rolling mills, electric motors low rpm, centrifugal pumps and fans; to fill the tram books).

Note

The coefficient of friction of the babbit without lubrication of 0.44, with the grease of 0.004. Maximum load capacity: static — 200 kgf/cm2, dynamic — 500 kgf/cm2 sec. The maximum temperature of normal bearing operation — +150 °C. recommended fill thickness ≥3.0 mm.

The total content of impurities by OST 24.916.01-71 should be ≤ 0.30%. As agreed by the manufacturer with the consumer, babbit can be supplied with an aluminum content of less than 0.050%.
