General characteristics

CrN45U sheet, strip, foil - products of heat-resistant steel used for the production of details of slotted furnaces, grids of furnace conveyors, burner parts, thermocouple covers and other parts operating at t° up to 1300 °C. The main components of KhN45Yu grade are iron, nickel and chromium. The proportion of iron is up to 38.1%, nickel - 44-46%, chromium - 15-17%. On the fourth position is aluminum (2.9-3.9%), Also the alloy contains manganese and silicon (up to 1%), phosphorus (up to 0.025%), selenium (up to 0.03%), less than 0.1% barium and carbon.

Production

Alloy melting of CrN45Yu is made in open electric furnaces in accordance with GOST 5632-72. Forging of rolled products begins at 1150-1180 ° C and ends at a temperature no lower than 850 ° C. After rolling the plate is quenched at 1060-1100°C in water, under a water shower or in the air. Strip is air hardened at 1100 °C. Sheet and strip are welded by all types of welding. For manual electric arc welding OZL-35 and OZL-35 electrodes are used. CrN45Yu sheet is made according to GOST 24 982-81 specifications. This standard applies to both cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel sheets of heat-resistant nickel- and iron-nickel-based alloys melted by open-pit method. Depending on the application, heat-resistant steel plates are available in thicknesses from 1 mm. Sheets, strips, foils are sorted by rolling accuracy, by the nature of the edge and by flatness. Flatness can be special, high, improved and normal. Accuracy is normal and improved. Edging can be trimmed or unedged.
